Aditya Krishnan has over two decades of experience providing comprehensive counsel in patent prosecution, licensing, and litigation support. His practice spans a wide range of software and technology hardware matters, including autonomous vehicles, streaming media, wireless standards, imaging systems, virtualization, and SaaS/cloud platforms. He represents clients across industries such as wireless technologies, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and high-tech, and brings particular depth in advising early-stage software businesses on protecting and scaling their innovations.
Aditya regularly appears before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the European Patent Office (EPO), where he has handled complex patent appeals. He has drafted and prosecuted applications across an exceptionally broad spectrum of technologies, including:
· Wireless & Networking: 6G/5G/4G cellular protocols, base stations, transceivers, ethernet protocols, routers, and network devices
· Software & Platforms: SaaS/multi-tenant systems, containerization, compression, streaming, encryption, database structures, JSON apps, scheduling software, navigation systems, and edge applications
· AI & Data Science: Machine learning, neural networks, anomaly detection, analytics, automation, trajectory planning, and natural language processing
· Hardware & Semiconductors: Mixed signal design, power management, semiconductors, display devices, GPUs, and block detection technologies
· Specialized Systems: Cybersecurity, blockchain/ledger applications, robotics, drones, imaging and scanning devices, catheters, and solar technologies
Aditya's career includes serving as in-house IP counsel for several leading Silicon Valley technology companies, where he managed global portfolios, directed outside counsel, and crafted comprehensive IP strategies tailored to business growth. Additionally, he worked as a Primary Patent Examiner at the USPTO, holding full signatory authority. His unique blend of experience across examining, in-house roles, and private practice, combined with his advanced technical experience, enables him to guide clients through every stage of intellectual property development, protection, and commercialization.
